	COMMUNITY LEADER: Mr Gavin R. Gradwell Mr Gradwell holds a Higher National Diploma for Technicians and a National Technical Teacher's Diploma. He has lectured at various institutions for higher learning and has been at Mangosuthu Technikon in the Department of Electrical Engineering for twenty years. He has held the positions of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Director. Mangosuthu Technikon is an institution established to cater for the needs of the previously disadvantaged.
	CHAIRMAN: Philip A. King B.Sc., B.Ed., HDE Mr King holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and biological science, a higher-education diploma, and a post-graduate Bachelor of Education degree in educational administration. He has also completed the coursework requirement for a Master of Education degree in educational administration but has not completed the minor-dissertation. He is a trained and experienced teacher who has taught a wide variety of subjects to high school children for twelve years. He was a sub-examiner for Matriculation Biology for three years. He has been involved with young people at parish level for many years. He is currently a director of an IT company that provides a telephone management service to industry and has been with this company for the past fifteen years.
	SECRETARY: Theresa G. Mc Avan B.A. Ms McAvan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and communications. In 1992 she was involved in the drawing up of the Charter for Children's Rights in South Africa. She represented South Africa at the United Nations Conference on Women and Children in Dakar, Senegal. Theresa was an active parish youth leader and was involved in the Movement of All the Children (MATCH) for many years. She is currently employed as a Financial Planner with Nedbank Financial Planning Division.
